Decking the Halls – Part 3

Playing around with table settings and table-cloth’s in preparation for Christmas and I think the pink and white striped one will be the choice for the day, sorry boys. Even though this will be Bella’s third Christmas it is the first one she’s been able to really get into and excited about so it’s in honor of her. My favourite things have been her going around the house saying ” Wow, look at all the fancy Christmas stuff” and going out and seeing the shops decorated and finding houses with christmas lights. Love seeing Christmas through the kids eyes and getting excited about it.
Here are some pics of the buffet all decked out. I love how the Lona de Anna framed print works with the painting Luca and I painted and is the perfect backdrop and inspiration for some fabulous fun decorating. Anna has some printable Christmas gift tags with this gorgeous image on them on her site at the moment if you’d like to print some out for your Christmas pressies.
I should have picked up more of these chandelier decorations from myer’s.
Of course there were none left when I went back.
I loved the birds Bed Bath and Table had last year.
Leaf decorations from David Jones this year.
If you don’t have a tree, a vase and some branches work just as well!
Did you notice the lamp shades have changed? Managed to find some bigger plain ones that fit better at Ikea. Don’t worry, i’ll find a home for the ones I covered. I might just add a spot of ribbon to these.
How are your Christmas preparations coming along?

P.S. If buying shades from Ikea make sure you pick up adaptor rings
as the holes are bigger in size and they didn’t fit any of my lamps without them.
