Real Estate Review – Dunsborough

I have just returned from a relaxing
 holiday in Dunsborough.
A long awaited, well deserved break to
re-charge the batteries and take time out to be with family.

Eagle Bay @ Dusk

We stayed in a wonderful apartment/town house in Eagle Bay
which had everything you could ask for, only a quick stroll to the beach.

We found it at Cape Executive Holiday Properties. .
Has me day-dreaming of having a holiday home or re-locating there.
I love the relaxed, laid back on-holiday vibe, the beaches and wineries.
Here are a two properties in the area
(although slightly over my budget) that caught my eye.
Very Coastal Luxe!
The first is in Eagle Bay.
With views like these you would never want to leave.
With 7 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, a home cinema
and a pool all in close proximity to the beach,
there’s plenty of room for all those house guests that will be visiting you.

I love the coastal colour palette of the following property.
It’s quite unique to the region and I noticed
these colours in local shops and property alike.
It really reflects the location and brings the outside in
creating a seamless design from inside to out.
Some Dunsborough designs use a coastal mix of colours
from greens to aqua to blue, with bleached and blonde woods,
lots of feature stone and huge expanses of glass to let all that beauty in.
The backdrop remains neutral including the floor so you don’t notice
the sand you’ve left from your walk on the beach.
Very livable and incredibly stylish!

You would certainly need a wine cellar
with all the vineyards on your doorstep.

This house was the
2009 HIA South West home of the year and you can see why.

Both these places would be perfect for a winter hibernation.
Enjoying a great wine by the roaring fire curled up on the couch
admiring the view with great company. Ah the serenity!
